Juvenia was founded in 1860 by the Didisheim family of watchmakers and is based in Saint-Imier.
Their latest is the Tigres, a mechanical luxury watch. Known as the mythical Mother of Tigers from Hinduism’s sacred Mahabharata, Shaduli is believed to have given birth to all tigers, lions as well as spotted cats. Inspired by this, Juvenia has created the Tigres as a pocket watch and a wristwatch. Both are unique pieces.
The wristwatch features an 18kt gold case that measures 44.5mm X 6.5mm and is set with 76 diamonds. The cover shows 3 hand-engraved tigers in the wild and the back is engraved with the name Shaduli in old Sanskrit.
Movement is the hand-wind, NOS caliber Juvenia 1105 with 17 jewels, beating at 21,600 bph and with a power reserve of 42 hours. It is skeletonized and hand-engraved.
