Several improvements such as ceramic ball bearing, a new gyromax balance with 4 arms and a new teeth shape. All help the movement to be more reliable and efficient.

Thanks for your input. Actually, I do think the former cal. 315 is a very good movement. The continuious improvement is a common practice in the watch-making industry. Cal. 324 does have some marginal advantages against cal.315, but I guess these improvements are not radical in terms of technology.

Historically, older Pateks keep good value.
